The Children’s Society is a UK charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people facing challenges such as poverty, neglect, exploitation, and mental health issues. They work directly with young people through specialist services, campaign for changes in law and policy, and raise awareness to improve children’s lives. Their focus is on helping young people feel safe, valued, and heard, giving them the tools to build a better future. The organisation was founded in 1881 by Edward Rudolf, meaning it has been supporting children for over 140 years.
The Children's Society worked in partnership with ten young advisors to produce The Good Childhood Report 2025, these young people conducted peer consultations and explored the ‘why’ behind some of the trends in young people’s wellbeing and their proposed solutions.
