The Prisoners Building Homes Programme (PBH) is an innovative award-winning programme which sees prisoners working with modular house builders and providers, the public and third sectors to build low carbon, sustainable homes for local communities and vulnerable people. In addition to developing affordable homes the programme addresses other Government priorities including unlocking small and challenging sites, reducing reoffending, addressing skills and capacity gaps in construction supply chains and encouraging off site construction.
