The Council Housebuilding Support Service (CHoSS) is a fully funded national improvement programme, funded by MHCLG and delivered by the LGA, helping councils strengthen their capacity, capability and confidence to deliver more council homes.
As CHoSS continues to expand, the programme is working with councils to understand local ambitions, identify capacity and capability needs, and shape practical support that helps move housebuilding plans into delivery.
