Chapter One is a national provider of information, training and support for everyone affected by gambling. Formed and informed by lived experience, we offer evidence-based training empowering professionals to identify gambling related harms, provide an intervention and signpost to ongoing support. Our flagship training programmes are offered to front line and healthcare professionals with adaptations for those working with children and young people. Alongside the core training, we provide a Train the Trainer programme with an ongoing support and an e-learning suite. Our core training programmes have been externally evaluated to ensure high quality assurance and efficacy. Chapter One has also supported local authorities with a range of successful media campaigns to promote public health messaging through the lens of lived experience. Successful campaign outcomes have shown an increase in engagement, awareness and referrals to local support and treatment. Contact us at hello@chapter-one.org for more information.
The Coalition to End Gambling Ads (CEGA) is a campaign to stop gambling being promoted that includes in its membership public health institutions, councils, charities, and credit unions. Contact us at info@cega.org.uk to find out more.
