Bay Media is the UK’s largest provider of lamppost banner advertising, managing a network of over 10,000 sites nationwide. For more than a quarter of a century, we have operated as a trusted partner to over two-thirds of the UK's local authorities, helping them utilise existing street infrastructure to communicate effectively with residents.
Our core service bridges civic communication and local economic support. Through our commercial revenue-share model, we reinvest over £1 million back into UK councils annually, helping to fund vital community projects and services. In addition to lamppost banners, our UK network features other highly visible out-of-home formats, including:
Raised '6 Sheet' Poster Advertising: Raised, backlit posters positioned along busy arterial roads for 24/7 visibility.
AirDressing® Displays: Large, illuminated billboards installed in high-traffic shopping centres across the UK.
We manage the entire operational lifecycle completely in-house. This includes precision printing, structural column testing, local highway permits, and full installation and removal by our fully certified Chapter 8 and safety-accredited engineering teams.
To ensure absolute transparency, every single installation is verified using our custom-made ProofRock tool. This provides clients with clear photographic evidence, exact installation times, and precise GPS data, accessible via an easy-to-use management console the following morning.
At the LGA Conference, we look forward to discussing how councils can safely maximise their local messaging reach while opening dependable, long-term revenue streams to support public services.
