The Local Government Boundary Commission for England
We are an independent body, accountable to Parliament, which reviews the electoral and boundary arrangements of councils in England.
We consult local people and organisations to help us produce proposals and then recommendations for change.
We aim to:
• Make sure that, within an authority, each councillor represents a similar number of electors • Create boundaries that are appropriate, and reflect community ties and identities • Deliver reviews that are informed by local needs, views and circumstances
To find out more about our work – or to discuss any review in your local area – please come along to see us.
