We are iChoosr, aiming to make it easier for everyone to contribute towards the energy transition. We engage people to purchase sustainable energy products by bringing consumers and suppliers together on a large scale. Established in the UK in 2012, we work with councils across the country to deliver solar and energy group-buying schemes that we run several times a year. Together with our council partners we provide a safe environment for consumers to make an informed decision where they might otherwise not act.

Solar Together Solar Together is a cost neutral way for the councils we work with to make a significant impact on carbon reduction targets through private resident investment in renewable energy generation. Solar Together group-buying schemes make it easy for UK homeowners to install solar panels and storage for a competitive price with a trustworthy, pre-vetted installer. Increasing pressure around climate change, higher wholesale energy prices, stronger interest in grid-independence, growth in electric vehicle uptake and innovation in the technologies available, are all contributing to changes in the way people look at the opportunity available through solar panels. However, consumers find it hard to find trusted, objective information online. Buying solar panels doesn’t have to be difficult. Our group-buying scheme makes solar panels and batteries more accessible and more affordable.

Big Community Switch Since 2012 we have partnered with over 210 councils to carry out three collective energy switching schemes a year, averaging 60,000 registrants per scheme. Our two UK brands are Big Community Switch, which is run across the country and Big London Energy Switch, which is run by boroughs across the capital. We make switching easy and help individuals get a better offer together on energy than they might on their own.
